Paper Blooms from Stampin' Up!

Hi crafters,

I'm sharing another DSP card today and this one features another of the free Sale-a-Bration paper packs called Paper Blooms.  The paper co-ordinates with the In Bloom bundle from the Stampin' Up! January-June Mini Catalogue.

I created a card base from thick white cardstock.  I cut a panel for the front from the Paper Blooms DSP leaving a small border of white cardstock showing.  I used the Birds & More Dies to cut an aperature which also leaves connected branches and leaves.  I lined the panel up on the base card and then positioned my stamp from the Friendly Flamingo stamp set using my Stamparatus to stamp in Night of Navy ink.

I created the blooms from Rococo Rose cardstock and the leaves from Seaside Spray cardstock.  I shaped them with the embossing tool on the Take Your Pick Tool.  I added a silver metallic pearl to the centre of each of the flowers to finish this card off.

A Little Foiled Lace from Stampin' Up!

Hi crafters,

I have a super shiny card today so get your sunglasses at the ready!  I used the Stitched Lace background die with the new Love You Always Foil Sheets in Blushing Bride to create a wow factor.

I started by making a card base from thick white cardstock.  Then I used the Stitched Lace Dies with the Blushing Bride foil and was amazed at how well it cut with the Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine.  I didn't want to cover up too much of the background so I opted for a cluster in the bottom left corner of the card to showcase the background.  I used Blushing Bride cardstock and the Forever Flourishing Dies to create a leafy sprig behind my sentiment topper.  I used white cardstock and the Stitched Shapes Dies to create a circle.  I ran this through one of the Greenery Embossing Folders  for added texture.  To create the sentiment I stamped tone on tone in Blushing Bride ink onto Blushing Bride cardstock.  I popped the sentiment up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Although I didn't use any Sale-a-bration items on this project, don't forget that you only have until the end of February to pick up great freebies.  There is a link to the digital SAB brochure on my right-hand sidebar.

Happy crafting, Rachel x

Stampin' Up! January - June 2021 Mini Catalogue Favourites

Hi crafters,

It's an exciting day at Little Lane Crafts as the new Stampin' Up! January - June 2021 Mini Catalogue has launched and it's packed with great products and inspiration.  I've compiled a list of my favourites for you to peruse.  You can check out the online version of the catalogue or request a hard copy by sending me your address in an email.  My email address is at the top of my blog page.  Alternatively, you can contact me on Facebook at Little Lane Crafts.

So onto my favourites from the mini catalogue and I've narrowed it down to just 10!  It's a tough job but somebody's gotta do it!  Demonstrators were able to pre-order early in December and I've had so much fun playing over the Christmas holidays.  Get ready for lots more blog posts and maybe even my first You Tube video!

January-June 2021 Mini Catalogue Favourites

You might have spotted a cheeky Sale-A-Bration item in my list - Oh So Ombre 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper!  The SAB catalogue also launched today and it's packed with fantastic free products with qualifying orders but only until 28 February 2021.  For each £45 you spend, you can chose a free Level 1 item.  If you spend £90, you can chose a Level 2 item.  There is no limit to the number of free items you can earn so start shopping and saving today at my online store.

I also have a card project to share using the Floating and Fluttering Bundle.  Every bundle in any of the Stampin' Up! catalogues includes a 10% saving.

I went for a simple design to showcase the butterfly images which were heat embossed in gold for the background.  I added a pop of colour with Blackberry Bliss accents too.  There are no sentiments in the Floating and Fluttering stamp set so I chose to use the Heal Your Heart stamp set from the SAB catalogue.

Happy crafting,
Rachel x
