The wonderful Global Stamping Friends are back with another international blog hop to inspire your creativity. This month we are feeling the love.
My project is a wedding congratulations card and I've gone a bit rustic!
I started with Cherry Cobbler card blank for my base card. I stamped the Tree Rings background stamp in Crumb Cake ink onto Crumb Cake cardstock and then roughed up the edges with a pair of Paper Snips. This is a really easy way to add texture. I tore a piece of vellum to create a border and then heat embossed "Congratulations" from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set in gold. My topper image is from the Always and Forever stamp set which co-ordinates perfectly with the background. I used Very Vanilla cardstock and heat embossed in gold again. Taking the smallest heart die from the Sweet and Sassy Framelits, I cut a Cherry Cobbler heart to match the card blank and raised this up with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I hope you have been inspired by our Blog Hop and are feeling the love too. Up next is a fabulous project from Amber. Just click on the image below to keep hopping. If you get lost there is a list below showing all of the participants this month.
