Crafty Collaborations Share It Sunday Blog Hop

Hi crafters,

I'm delighted to be joining the Crafty Collaborations team for their Share It Sunday Blog Hop.  This blog hop showcases all types of creations as the participants are free to enter anything they wish.  I can't wait to find out what everyone else has shared.

I have two cards for today's blog hop and they both feature the Daisy Garden Cling Stamp but used in different ways.

For the card on the left I stamped the Daisy Garden Cling Stamp in Smoky Slate ink on Basic White cardstock and then ran the panel through the Stampin' Cut & Emboss with the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.  I added Daffodil Delight ink on the edges of the panel with a Blending Brush.  I also filled in the centers of the flowers with the same Daffodil Delight ink.  I cut a strip of Smoky Slate cardstock to run horizontally across the card and adhered this, along with the stamped panel, with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (MLG).  I cut the word hugs from the Playful Alphabet Dies three times and stacked these up with more MLG.  I finished off by adding a heart diecut in Daffodil Delight cardstock from the Birds & More Dies.  I covered the heart with a layer of sparkle using the Wink of Stella Clear marker.

The second card is very simple and stared off with a panel of Crumb Cake cardstock.  I stamped the Daisy Garden Cling Stamp in Versamark ink and heat embossed in gold.  I stamped the sentiment from the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set in Crumb Cake ink and then cut it out using the Tasteful Labels Dies.  I added some of the gold Elegant Trim behind the sentiment which was popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

Now you can continue to move on through the hop using the links below.  Be sure to leave us a comment as we love to know what you think of our projects - it makes our day!

Happy crafting,

Merry Reindeer Christmas from Stampin' Up!

Hi crafters,

I have another Christmas in July card for you today.  I'm also entering the Global Design Project Challenge #300 - Case the Designer.

I chose to take inspiration from the layout and came up with a Christmas card featuring new products from the July-December Mini Catalogue and the Sale-A-Bration (SAB) Brochure.  These products are available from 3 August for customers.  However, if you'd like to become a demonstrator now, you can add any of these products to your starter kit.

I made a card base from Thick Basic White cardstock.  I love the weight of this cardstock as it holds up really well with lots of layers on the front.  I cut a piece of the Peaceful Prints DSP which is a SAB item and then adhered two strips of the Be Dazzling SAB paper to either side.  I cut the Christmas wreath twice from Shaded Spruce cardstock from the Seasonal Swirls Dies and the berries from Real Red cardstock, adhering both with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I used the Deer Builder Punch to punch out the reindeer body from Early Espresso cardstock, the nose from Real Red and the antlers from the Be Dazzling paper.  I popped up the reindeer with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Finally, I stamped the sentiment from the Sparkle of the Season stamp set in Early Espresso ink.

I would like to enter this card into the Global Design Project Challenge #300 - Case the Designer.

Happy crafting,
Rachel x

A full supply list will be added after 3 August 2021.

Stampin' Dreams Blog Hop - Christmas in July

Hi crafters,

I'm very excited to take part in a new to me blog hop today.  The Stampin Dreams Blog Hop is featuring projects in the theme of Christmas in July.  I love getting a head start on my Christmas makes.

As soon as I saw the Festive Foliage Background Stamp in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue I knew I wanted to use it with dark cardstock and gold heat embossing.  So that's exactly what I did for this card!

I made a card base using half a sheet of A4 Evening Evergreen cardstock.  I stamped the Festive Foliage image in Versamark ink onto Evening Evergreen cardstock and heat embossed with Stampin' Emboss Gold Powder.  I added Evening Evergreen ink to the edges of the panel with a Blending Brush and then adhered the panel to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I stamped and gold heat embossed the sentiment from the Inspired Thoughts Stamp Set.  The banner die from the Tasteful Labels Dies was used to cut this out and then popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I finished off the card by adding some Red Rhinestone Jewels.
