Stampin' Up! Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper Day 6

Hi Crafters,

We are nearly there on our Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper journey!  Welcome to Day 6.  The previous posts are still available to view too - Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, Day 4 and Day 5

I created a card blank from Basic Gray cardstock and ran this through the Big Shot using the Ruffled Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  I had spent a wonderful time a few days previously creating numerous Brusho Crystal Colours backgrounds on Shimmery White cardstock and I used this behind the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper.  This background uses Prussian Blue and Red Brushos.  The background was also stamped using the flower image from the Sunshine Sayings stamp set in Craft (white) ink.  I just managed to cut the sentiment from the Sunshine Wishes using the same piece of Brusho cardstock and shadowed this with a die cut in Whisper White.  I finished off with three metallic sequins.

Only one day left in the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper journey.  I would love to know your favourite project and whether you've been inspired.  Leave me a comment below and let me know.

Happy crafting,

Stampin' Up! Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper Day 5

Hi Crafters,

Thanks for joining me for Day 5 of the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper feature.   There is still time to catch up on Day 1, Day 2, Day 3 and especially Day 4 which is related to today's project.

This is a very simple card but the sparkle detail really makes a statement.  I used the leftover piece of DSP which had Shimmery White Embossing Paste applied all over as the background and then added Rhinestones to the centres of each flower design.  I cut a piece of Powder Pink Shimmer Ribbon and attached this behind a layered Pretty Label Punch.  The shadow was created using two punched shapes in Whisper White.  My sentiment came from the brand new A Big Thank You stamp set which is definitely a must-have for any crafter.  The card was made using a Berry Burst card blank.

Here is a look at both cards together.  I just love the versatility of this DSP and the extended use by adding the Shimmery White Embossing Paste.

Have you tried the embossing pastes from Stampin' Up! yet?  There are three colours to choose from and they add great texture and dimension without the weight so they are perfect for posting.

Happy crafting,

Stampin' Up! Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper Day 4

Hi Crafters,

Another day, another Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper project!  This time I've used one of my favourite products, embossing paste, to create two backgrounds.  You'll have to check back tomorrow to see the second project though!

Be sure to check out the projects from Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3 which featured inking, embossing and bow-making.  Today's card was created using a Whisper White card blank layered with a piece of Mint Macaron cardstock.  I added the Shimmery White Texture Paste through the DSP panel using a Palette Knife on Night of Navy cardstock.  The frame was cut from a piece of Whisper White cardstock using the Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies.  I added a sentiment from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits Dies in Mint Macaron and paired this with the smallest flower punch from the Blossom Builder Punch.  I scrunched up the flowers to give dimension and added a pearl to each centre.

If you haven't already, be sure to leave a comment and let me know what you think of the Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper.  What will you create with yours?

Happy crafting,
Rachel x
