Bella and Friends

Hi Stampers,

I am back with a clean and simple card featuring Bella and Friends from Stampin' Up!  I love that you can colour portions of the image using different colours and it takes no time at all.

Isn't this image just adorable?!  I coloured the image with Stampin' Markers which are super quality.  The ribbon is from the Autumn/Winter catalogue so get it quick before it's gone.

Global Design Project - Colour Challenge

Hi,

I am feeling so inspired with all the lovely new products in the Stampin' Up! Spring/Summer catalogue.  I have chosen to use just a couple in my card today.  Can you spot them?!

The lovely team at the Global Design Project have a colour challenge this week and I have used this as the basis for my card.

A fun colour combo and one to really get the creative juices flowing.  This is my take on the challenge:-

My background was a bit of a happy accident!  I stamped the biggest flower from Penned and Painted on Crumb Cake cardstock and then held the Aqua Painter above until a drop of water fell onto the centre of each flower.  Then you have to be patient and let the water dry completely.  The centres became lighter in colour and looked more watercoloured.

I added one of new doilies from the S/S catalogue to the corners but coloured it using an Early Espresso marker and then added my Wink of Stella clear pen.  It really sparkles and always gives me a buzz when I see the shimmer.

To create the centre topper, I cut a frame from the Stitched framelits in Real Red cardstock and then added my heat embossed sentiment from Suite Sentiments to a circle of vellum.  Finally I added another flower with a gem coloured in Real Red to match.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenge:

Rachel

Stamper's Delight!

Hello again,

I'm back with another Christmas card to give you plenty of inspiration for the festive season.  This card caused a bit of a stir on a demonstrators only page on Facebook, receiving over 1100 likes!  I was absolutely astonished and so delighted that so many people had taken the time to like my design.

I used one of my favourite Christmas sets - Peaceful Pines and started with an A4 piece of Whisper White cardstock.  Thinking of  a clock, I stamped first at 12, then at 6, 3 and 9.  I filled in the blank spaces and some are lined up better than others!  I added gold glimmer paper stars and a sentiment for the centre.  I have become so attached to this card that I'm not sure I'll be able to part with it now!

Happy crafting,

Oh Christmas Tree!

Good evening crafters,

Is your tree lighting up your home yet?  I have taken mine out of the box tonight and can't wait to make the house feel so festive.  I have a tree-inspired box for you today.  The Stampin' Up! Gift Box Punch Board is absolutely fantastic and so easy to use.  Make sure you get yours soon.

I demonstrated this box at my Christmas in July class and everyone loved the tree decoration.  It's really simple to make - stamp and cut three trees from the Peaceful Pines set and layer up with adhesive only in the centre.  A full supply list is at the end of this post.

Happy crafting,
