Share What You Love with Stampin' Up!'s Specialty DSP

Hi Crafters,

I have a super simple card for you today which showcases the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP).  I am seriously head over heels for this paper.  The designs are really versatile and the colour palette sings to me too.

I started by making an A5 cardblank on my Simply Scored board using Whisper White cardstock and then cut another strip of Whisper White to layer my DSP on top.  I used Rich Razzleberry cardstock for my sentiment and then covered with a layer of clear Wink of Stella.  This really glistens in real life.

I really love the extra details of the foiling in this collection and the designs are just lovely.  Do you have a favourite DSP from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue?  If you do, you could get it for free by purchasing three packs of paper.

Please note that the Share What You Love Specialty DSP is not included in this offer.  However, there are plenty of other beautiful collections to add to your crafting supplies.  Simply click on the image above to start shopping now but be quick as this offer expires on Tuesday 31 July.

Happy crafting,

Itty Bitty Tropical by Stampin' Up!

Hi Crafters,

I'm back with an itty bitty card using the Itty Bitty Greetings from Stampin' Up! teamed with the Tropical Chic bundle.  This card measures 3" square and fits perfectly with Stampin' Up!'s 3" x 3" Whisper White envelopes.  This size is great for using up the small bits of scrap card that we just can't bear to through away.

I started with a piece of Whisper White cardstock cut to 6" x 3" and scored at 3" to create my card blank.  I added a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock on top creating a layer.  I used the leaf panel die from the Tropical Thinlits to cut the background image in Shaded Spruce cardstock and then snipped away the frame.  To create dimension, I popped up the leaves using Stampin' Dimensionals.  I punched a 1 1/8" scalloped circle in Flirty Flamingo and topped this with a 1" circle in Whisper White which I used to stamp my sentiment.  The leaf was stamped off for fourth generation in Shaded Spruce as my ink pad is new and super juicy.  Just the way I like them!  I then over stamped my sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings in Flirty Flamingo.  To finish I added three iridescent sequins.

This was definitely one of my favourite sets from the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue as it reminded me of Hawaii.  I visited back in October 2016 and I have so many scrapbook pages planned!

Happy crafting,

Inspire Create Challenge #022 Entry

Hi Crafters,

I'm back with a challenge entry after being inspired by Emma Goddard's creation for the Inspire Create Challenges Design Team.  I actually created two cards using the colour combo but then I realised that Petal Pink had infiltrated my designs rather than Powder Pink!  It was back to the drawing board again!  Stay tuned to see those cards in posts coming up later this week.  So, back to the challenge and this is the actual colour combo!

I decided to put my Stamparatus through it's paces for this card and wow did it deliver!  I stated with a piece of Powder Pink cardstock cut to 4.75" square.  Using a plastic template I created with my Cricut, I created a wreath pattern using Powder Pink, Coastal Cabana and Shaded Spruce ink pads.  Each image is inked and stamped multiple times by rotating the cardstock and placing back into the template.  I'll have a video for you shortly showing exactly what I mean so be sure to check back.  I added the pearls to the centre as the finishing touch and I was really pleased with how this turned out and it's not often I feel that way!

Have you picked up the Stamparatus yet?  If not, head over to my online shop (link in right-hand sidebar) and nab one for yourself.  It's open 24/7!

Happy crafting,
Rachel x
