Today is so exciting as the Snowflake Showcase from Stampin' Up! is now available! I've had a chance to use these products for a couple of weeks and I highly recommend them for your Christmas crafting and beyond. The collection comprises two stamp sets and a co-ordinating die set.
I have a clean and simple card to start off. I thought Stampin' Up!'s shimmer products would pair perfectly with the Snowfall Thinlits Dies.
I created a card base in Shimmery White cardstock and then added a layer of watercolour wash using Balmy Blue ink and an Aqua Painter. I cut the letters and snowflake from Whisper White cardstock and adhered with Liquid Multipurpose Glue. I left the points of the snowflake loose to give dimension. Finally I added drops of the Frost White Shimmer Paint using an old paintbrush and a tapping technique.
This angle really shows the shimmer on this card. The Snowflake Showcase is only available for the month of November. I will be sharing more projects over the course of the month and hope you find inspiration too.
