Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop - Hello New Friends

Hi Crafters,

I am joining the Global Stamping Friends on their tenth blog hop today.  We are saying hello to new goodies this month.  Be sure to check in with all the blogs and let us know you've visited by leaving a comment.  We love hearing from you.

As the brand new Annual Stampin' Up! Catalogue launched just yesterday we are welcoming some new friends into our stamping stash.  I absolutely fell in love with the Delightful Daisy suite and knew I had to use it on my card.  The picture below shows just some of the wonderful projects that can be made with this suite.

I created my card using the main daisy image and paired it with the Hexagons 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.  The daisy image also comes with a matching punch but I'll leave that one for another post!  You can also spot one of the new In Colors for 2017-19 which i have used to stamp and as the background cardstock.  It's hard to choose a favourite but Berry Burst might be nudging ahead!

I am holding my annual Open House event to celebrate the launch of the new catalogue and this will be the make and take.  I love how simply the flower layers up and gives a really effective image in no time.  The thank you sentiment is also from the Daisy Delight set and I know this will feature on several projects.

  1. I love this color combination, and it makes me laugh because I decided to use Daffodil Delight as a sacrificial color of card stock to experiment with making boxes...with the thought that I hardly ever use it (so it wouldn't really be wasting it). Whoops! Now I'll need to stock back up. Thanks for sharing your inspiration :-D
