Hi Crafters,
As it's the first Friday of the month, the Global Stamping Friends team are showcasing projects in our monthly blog hop. We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world and I love to see the different projects created each month. Our theme for December is leaves and vines. If you've hopped from the talented Amanda's post, you are on the right track. There is also a full list of participants at the end of this post.
I have two cards to share this month for our leaves and vines theme.
This first card features a background made using the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks. I inked through the masks using a blending brush with inks in Mossy Meadow, Garden Green and Pear Pizzazz. I rotated the mask each time I changed ink colour and applied a heavier layer of ink in places. I trimmed down the panel and added it to a UK standard A5 card base made with Thick Whisper White cardstock. Next, I used the Wreath Builder Dies with Whisper White cardstock and attached two die cuts offset on the top centre of the background panel. I added a sentiment from the Love of Leaves stamp set which was white heat embossed onto Mossy Meadow cardstock. To finish I added a few Elegant Faceted Gems.
My second card features a Cajun Craze cardstock background debossed with one of the Meadow Moments Embossing Folders. I applied Versamark ink to the raised parts of the folder before running it through my Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine. Afterwards I added gold embossing powder and heat embossed. I used the Rooted in Nature stamp set for the sentiment which was also stamped in Cajun Craze ink and then die cut using the Layering Circles Dies. I added a Gold Foil circle behind the sentiment circle. For a final embellishment I used the Love of Leaves bundle with Cajun Craze ink.
I hope you are loving our leaves and vines blog hop. To keep hopping, click the next arrow below to head to the wonderful Libby's post.
