The international crafters from Global Stamping Friends are back with another blog hop to inspire you. I hope you enjoyed our special anniversary blog hop - if you missed it you can still view my post and hop along. It's a lot of fun taking part in blog hops and we really appreciate all your support.
This month we are bringing you colour inspiration using the following palette:
I was struggling to choose which idea to try out with this group of colours - so many options! Finally I settled for one of my favourite sets from the Annual Catalogue called Colorful Seasons. It really does take you through all seasons.
I was also inspired by the current challenge over at Global Design Project which features a sketch.
I've been channeling my festive side and have created a wintry card using the branch and snowflake images.
My main panel is simply stamped in Smoky Slate, Pool Party and Night of Navy and then I drew a string with the Smoky Slate Stampin' Write Marker to attach the snowflakes to the branches. I added Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the centres of the snowflakes for some bling. You can never have too much sparkle, especially at Christmas. I stamped my greeting from the brand new Cheers to the Year stamp set from the new Autumn/Winter Catalogue in Smoky Slate and finished off with some Metallic Silver Thread.
Keep hopping to Ellen's blog using the next arrow below. I can't wait to see what everyone has created. I know everyone's ideas will be so different.
We would love you to leave a comment to let us know you've visited. I hope you've been inspired by our colour challenge to get stamping. You are certainly in for a treat with the new Autumn/Winter Stampin' Up! catalogue which launched today. If you would like a catalogue sent out by post, simply drop me an email with your name and address and I'll send one out directly to you.
Happy crafting,
