Hopping Around the World Blog Hop - Halloween

Hi crafters,

Welcome to another blog hop and this time it is the turn of the Hopping Around the World team.  We hop on the last weekend of every month and showcase creativity from around the globe using Stampin' Up! products.  Our theme this month is Halloween, so prepare for all things spooky!  If you've come from Rebecca-Jo's post, you are on the right track.  There is a full list of participants at the end of this post.

I'm a huge fan of the film Hocus Pocus and used this as my inspiration for a Halloween card.  The Sanderson sisters sure had their own kind of crafting!

I made a card blank from Basic Black cardstock.  The panel of Whisper White cardstock was embossed using the Cobwebs 3D Embossing Folder and then I ran Smoky Slate ink over the top of the raised areas to make them pop.  I cut the border die from the Halloween Magic dies in Black Glitter Paper and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  I used some of the Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper with the label die from the same Halloween Magic dies and this became my topper.  I added letters in Basic Black cardstock from the Playful Alphabet dies.  I also stamped and fussy cut a secondary sentiment from the Hallows Night Magic stamp set and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I also stamped and die cut the spider to match the cobweb background.  I finished with a bow made from the Black Organdy Glitter Ribbon.

I hope you are enjoying our Halloween hop.  To keep hopping, head to Mo's post.  We would love to hear from you too, so don't forget to leave a comment below to let us know you've visited.

Happy crafting,

Rachel x
