Hi crafters,
It's time for another blog hop from the We Fall In... Colours team. We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who love to share our passion for creativity through colour. If you've hopped from Belinda's post you are on the right track. There is also a full list of participants at the end of this post.
This month our colour combo is Shaded Spruce, Merry Merlot and Pacific Point. I've only just rediscovered my love for Pacific Point which is a beautiful bright blue.
I started by creating a card base from Thick Whisper White cardstock. The Shaded Spruce DSP is from the new Classic Christmas 6" x 6" designs and I inked around the edges of the panel with Pacific Point ink using a blending brush. I cut the letters using the Playful Alphabet dies in Merry Merlot cardstock and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added a two holly leaves in Shaded Spruce cardstock and berries in Merry Merlot cardstock cut using the Sweetest Borders Dies. I covered the berries with a layer of Wink of Stella for extra sparkle.
Happy crafting,
Rachel x

You made a very nice card, although I don't really like the color scheme this month.
ReplyDeleteI like the way you brought in the color Pacific blue. Very clever. The idea of creating your own Christmas saying with the letters is also very creative. Well done!
Hi Rachel,
ReplyDeleteI love your clean and simple card. The idea to sponge the backgroud in blue is great.
